"I never stop being persistent in landing customers."

Danny Lovato is the West Coast Regional Director for the KLA offices in Irvine, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. His six years with KLA Laboratories have been transformational, as Danny has played a key role in the company’s expansion to the West Coast. He focuses on day-to-day operations and business development for both offices and regions.

He believes having a physical office in California is vital because it gives KLA a presence in a major market and offers clients peace of mind, knowing KLA has boots on the ground. Having local project managers and engineers is essential to supporting successful projects and national growth.

During the early stages of the West Coast transition, Danny says the company was primarily focused on installing distributed antenna systems (DAS) for KLA’s telecommunications partners in the region. KLA began by building out smaller projects to demonstrate the company’s capabilities and responsiveness to deployments and changes.

Danny’s leadership has helped KLA expand its full range of services and expertise to the West Coast. His military background brings a strong sense of leadership and direction to the team as they continue building out operations.

“I feel like our work showcases itself, so I was persistent in pursuing customers in the market.”

Danny sees KLA’s Audio Visual Productions group evolving the most in the Western region. KLA’s Audio Visual Productions group is well respected throughout the Midwest. Originally a Detroit-based audio company, with ties to Motown and other well-established music venues in the Midwest, KLA is making an impression on the West Coast. Work at historic L.A. venues, like the Kia Forum, The Wiltern, and Crypto.com Arena, are quickly building KLA’s reputation. Danny’s team is preparing for an upcoming festival in Oceanside, California, which includes staging, lighting, and sound.

“I feel like this can lead into larger AV Productions projects in southern California. Successfully delivering AV services for an event of this scale not only demonstrates our technical capabilities, but also strengthens our credibility in the market.”

Looking ahead, Danny anticipates KLA’s West Coast operations expanding into Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. He shares that the support from KLA’s leadership has made a significant impact on him and his team. As demand continues to grow, KLA is strategically positioning itself to take on larger, more complex projects across the region, all of this is possible and near.

“KLA’s leadership has been the backbone of the company. Watching them interact with everyone is motivating and helps guide management and other employees where we need to be.”

Outside of work, Danny is deeply family-oriented and enjoys spending time with his 22-year-old son, who is about to begin his career at the fire department. He also competes in water sports and has been a football coach for 13 years, demonstrating leadership both in and out of the office.
