KLA has recently completed network upgrade projects for several AISIN facilities located throughout Mexico. AISIN is a manufacturer and supplier of automotive parts and lifestyle/wellness products. KLA provided hardware, configuration services, material, and installation staff to refresh their facility networks. The most recent refresh took place in Monterey where the KLA team installed over 100 data drops and dozens of access points originating from three new plant floor IDF cabinets and an administration building located MDF to cover the facility.
In addition, KLA is actively involved in designing a plant floor IoT network used for data collection from the various production devices. This data will be captured and made available for analysis from any AISIN location. KLA was instrumental in specifying the network devices and collaborated with AISIN as well as their Operational Technology controls vendors.
