KLA LABORATORIES, INC. PROMOTES DAVE OLIVER TO FIELD ENGINEER

Dearborn, Michigan based KLA Laboratories, Inc., a 92-year-old family-owned firm providing a range of information technology and communication projects and services, announced today the promotion of Dave Oliver to Field Engineer. The announcement was made by Matt O’Bryan, President and CEO of KLA Laboratories.
“KLA is excited to announce Dave’s promotion to Field Engineer,” said KLA Laboratories President and CEO, Matt O’Bryan. “Dave has been with KLA as a Technician/Foreman since 2007. His commitment to the company and our customers is unmatched, and it was a natural transition to promote him to a role that aids in the growth and development of KLA’s installation services”.
Dave earned his Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering from Baker College and went on to work in the network services industry for ten years before joining KLA. While there, he received multiple certifications and training, including a three-year apprenticeship training through the IBEW Local 58 Electrical Union. When he joined KLA in 2007, he began installing and certifying communications systems and components.
In his new role, Dave is responsible for providing technical assistance, direction, and support for complex projects from concept to completion. He will work with KLA’s Operations team, Project Managers, and Engineers to develop and refine KLA’s standards and best practices for installation. He will act as a liaison to the project management and design engineering teams and identify opportunities and implement action plans to improve project and services delivery.
