Van Andel Arena & DeVos Place Convention Center
KLA completed a central carrier head end installation in Grand Rapids, Michigan that provides coverage and capacity for Van Andel Arena and DeVos Place Convention Center. Van Andel Arena is home to the Grand Rapids Griffins and seats 12,000+ patrons. It is also used as a concert venue. The DeVos Place Convention Center is a multi-purpose center with an exhibit hall, ballroom, 26 meeting rooms, and an underground garage.
KLA completed a 6-sector JMA TEKO neutral host DAS installation for Boingo Wireless in Van Andel Arena. This included 32 TEKO remotes, 101 directional and omni antennas, and 10,000 feet of fiber/11,000 feet of coaxial cabling being installed at the venue. Inside DeVos Place Convention Center, KLA installed a 9-sector JMA TEKO neutral host DAS for Boingo, including 23,000 feet of armored fiber and 32,000 feet of coaialx cabling installed.
